New Era for Megaroller

Megaroller Australia’s opens its West Australian manufacturing plant and offices, in O’Connor, Perth.

Megaroller is a leading manufacturer of superior quality conveyor rollers for the mining and bulk handling industries. Production of Megaroller’s patented High Density Polyethylene rollers commenced in the early years of the 80’s in South Africa. With a history of innovation and development and as a well-known trusted provider of innovative and long lasting and environmentally sound conveyor systems Megaroller have been selling their product worldwide

Its successes subsequently lead to the opening of manufacturing plants in New South Wales, Australia and in Chile, South America. (See www.megaroller.com.au)

During July 2014, Megaroller South Africa sold their Australian manufacturing plant to Mr J A Kotze. The newly established Megaroller Australia and Megaroller Industries South Africa duly entered into a Manufacturing and License Agreement and aim to strongly collaborate in expanding the conveyer roller market within Australia and Asia.

The last week of September 2014 saw the relocation of Megaroller Australia’s manufacturing plant and staff to Perth, from its previous facilities in Morriset, NSW. The newly relocated facilities will allow Megaroller to bolster its proven track record and irrefutable reputation in the manufacture of superior conveyer rollers.

Megaroller Australia distinguished itself from various other roller manufacturers not only in the high quality of the HDPE- range, but in personal service and also in the short lead times. Due to the fact that the manufacturing plant is a local, manned by conveyor roller expertise, Megaroller can assist with unique order arrangements.

Megaroller HDPE Rollers are an innovation in reinforced high-density polyethylene (HDPE) conveyor rollers. Utilizing Megaroller’s unique design and incorporating our patented Sealing Arrangement, Bearing and Seal Housing, and Roller Shell, Megaroller HDPE Rollers are a robust, long-lasting and ecologically-sound alternative to conventional steel rollers. All plastic components have been designed in-house and is produced in our factory.

With the new set up and premises, the output of the factory will also be enhanced. The factory can currently produce up to 5000 Rollers per month.
