Newmont, Jundee Operations: 

There were 660 Megarollers installed to 2 x 1050mm conveyor systems. Jundee is a hard rock mine (gold), the ore is sharp and conditions are very dusty. These are now stock items on site. Trials started in January 2011.

 

Coogee Chemicals, Kwinana:

In a very high abrasive area, were the belt carries very sharp quartz material. Steel rollers were quickly destroyed.

 

First Quantum Minerals, Ravensthorpe:

After BHP Billiton closed this plant in 2009, these rollers sat idle and exposed to the elements for a period of18 Months without movement. As the trials are scattered and not in 1 place, the results are unknown.

 

Rio Tinto Pilbara Iron, Brockman:

50 rollers have been placed into operation at Brockman August 2011. Last reports indicate that they are running very well.

 

Barrick, Darlot Gold Mine:

51 Anti-seize rollers were issued in November 2011 for trial to their main crusher belt, as all steel rollers placed here failed. Trials were set as a comparison to the other roller failure.

 

BHP Nickel West, Mt Keith Operation:

Fenner Dunlop Australia issued 15 rollers for a trial at BHP's Mount Keith Operation. Fenner unfortunately and at this stage don't know who is responsible for conducting the trial, thus can't disclose any further information to us. We are awaiting further reports.
