From humble beginnings in South Africa, global demand of our esteemed conveyor roller lead to the establishment of production facilities in Australia and Chile. Megaroller is endowed with a history rich in innovation and ingenuity, affording Megaroller the title as the world leader in conveyor rollers.
History
In 1982 Mr J Roman, designed and manufactured the World's first heavy duty High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Rollers. It was introduced into the market as the "Africa Roller" and the "Roman Roller". In June 2005, Roman sold off Megaroller and it’s patents to the current owners of Megaroller Industries. An ever increasing demand for our products in Australia, saw to the establishment of an Australian production facility in 2010. The facility was set up within Morriset, New South Wales. During July 2014, Megaroller South Africa sold their Australian manufacturing plant to Australian investors. The newly established Megaroller Australia and Megaroller Industries South Africa, entered into a Manufacturing and License Agreement whereby the two companies will work closely together in growing the conveyor roller market in Australia and Asia.
