Megaroller Hybrid Rollers are unique combination steel / high-density polyethylene (HDPE) conveyor rollers. Megahybrid Roller provide the desired attributes of steel rollers, without the negative characteristics of a steel-based bearing housing.

  • Advanced Sealing Arrangement (Patent number 99/5238): The market's most efficient sealing system. The arrangement is completely water tight and bearings are completely protected from moisture and grit.

Stringent Concentricity Specification:

  • Megaroller only procures high quality roller ERW conveyor tube that confirms to a concentricity tolerance of TIR maximum 0.4mm.

  • Lighter weight than conventional steel rollers. Lower breakaway mass results in significant reduction in energy or start-up costs on conveyor drives.

Anti-static

 

Our innovative anti-static technology, comprising of a copper strip inside of the roller, which connects the outer shell to the shaft, can be applied to the Megahybrid roller. Static electricity is thus earthed inside the roller, to mitigate the risk of an open spark within methane rich underground mines.

 

Anti-runback

 

Our anti-runback conveyor roller can be applied to incline belts to prevent the belt from running back in the event of belt snap". The rollers are fitted with a roller brake system which ensure that the rollers only run in one direction.
